Collection: Architectural Plants

Often taller than surrounding plants, Architectural Plants refer to those which have striking flower spikes, defined leaf morphology, odd and interesting texture, or those which provide support for others in the garden through shade or structure. These plants are commonly used as part of the backdrop or a centerpiece to create varying levels of height and interest. They may act as signal flags to attract pollinators, or perches for birds to scope out this winters seed crop. They are certainly a welcome addition to any mixed planting.
